Is anyone else as SICK as I am of Mr Jackson dominating the news? What happened to war and financial crisis and Barak O'Bama? Hell, I am dying for some good old news that does not involve MJ, his children, his family or Neverland...
Back to the Jobs, though...I have picked up 2 new orders as follows:
I need a buyer. Someone with technical knowledge and accounts knowledge who will keep the company's best interests (and bottom line) front of mind. Great company experiencing growth in a very interesting sector of the market...no-one else in the country produces this product!! You need to have experience in an manufacturing environment fulfilling the buyer role.
I also need a mechanical fitter. Must be Olifantsfontein trade tested and preferably have FMCG experience...also if you have boilermaking experience, this is for you. Good CTC Package with secure, country-wide company. This position also requires you to work a 2 shift split but will only require you to work one 2pm - 11pm shift every 5 weeks. Standby, Overtime and petrol allowance also paid! Excellent company benefits.

New Opportunities i Pietermaritzburg!!
General Manager:
Qualified and experienced manufacturing industry General Manager to handle all aspects of the business other than the production, including, but not limited to Logistics, Finance, HR/IR, Administration, AHASA liaison, etc.
Needs to have held a general management/director position before. Must be prepared to take accountability, must be trustworthy and process driven.
3 x Plant Supervisors:
Qualified and experienced production supervisors with mechanical and production knowledge. Must be Computer Literate and and able to lead and motivate a team. Must also be prepared to work shifts, for which a shift allowance of 10% of Basic will be paid. Knowledge of PLC's and conveyors a must as well as some pneumatic, hydraulic, steam experience would benefit. Pelleting experience a +.
2 x Logistics/Raw Materials/Finished goods facilitators:
Must be prepared to share a 16 hour shift. Responsible for the logistic arrangements of raw material bins to and from suppliers, transport of finished goods to port and management of all documentation. Liaising and relationship building with both suppliers and transport companies to ensure best practice. Check procedures regarding storage, filling and loading of raw materials at suppliers. Manage all sites and transportation contracts. Monitor and manage movements of both raw materials and finished products between loading point and destination. Route planning, driver instrustion, load co-ordination and liaison with transporters. Encumbent must have valid driver's license and be prepared to travel within a 100km radius of the plant.
1 x Secretarial Assistant:
To assist General Manager and Production Executive with all secretarial functions. To answer telephones, manage call volumes and telephone duties. To do basic invoicing and assist with processing of orders. Must be highly computer literate and organised and committed to her position.
1 x Maintenance Fitter:
Technically qualified in Mechanical Fitting and Maintenance Mangement with 10 years experience to manage the machine maintenance function. Must be able to set up maintenance schedule, maintain machinery and report thereon. Must also be "hand-on" and prepared to work shift and stand-by when required.
Salary Scales - Offers to depend on current earnings.
